Crimson Desert Patch 2.02.00 adds cross-save support for Mac and fixes several player-facing progression, save, control, and stability problems. The update is available now on Steam PC and Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, and Epic Games Store, while the Mac App Store build remains listed as in progress. Those are the confirmed details in Pearl Abyss’s official Patch Notes Version 2.02.00, published September 11, 2026 (UTC).

Confirmed: Mac players can now use cross-save. Pearl Abyss lists cross-save as the patch’s new Mac addition. The notes do not describe the account-linking steps, which stores or editions can be combined, or whether every saved-state edge case transfers identically. Players moving a Mac save should therefore use the official in-game or account guidance, confirm the target save appears before overwriting anything, and keep a local backup where their platform permits one. Cross-save is the named feature; broader compatibility assumptions are editorial caution, not a promise in the notes.

Confirmed: several blocked activities and quest states are addressed. The patch fixes housing not becoming available after raising the banner at Howling Hill Camp when the inventory is full. It also fixes an inability to liberate Thornbriar Fortress, Trade Goods Storage items disappearing when certain save files load, and a case where the letter disappears during “The Words of Alustin,” preventing progress. These fixes are particularly useful for players who encountered those exact symptoms. Pearl Abyss does not say that every missing item or stalled quest uses the same cause, so reinstalling or replaying unrelated content is not established by this update alone.

Confirmed: controls, UI, and PC stability receive targeted work. Descending Force Palm should now chain after Aerial Force Palm in the affected situations, and a UI-text shaking issue has been fixed. On the graphics side, the notes identify a crash when starting a new game with DLSS Frame Generation enabled. If that setting stopped a PC player from beginning a new save, updating first and then testing the same configuration is the narrow, source-backed next step. The notes do not identify a driver version, GPU generation, or a general performance overhaul, so players should not treat the DLSS fix as confirmation that every frame-generation or stutter problem has been resolved.

Confirmed: localization and visual clean-up are included. Pearl Abyss says it fixed various localization errors and improved localization quality across all languages, with a separate fix for some Arabic text that did not display correctly. It also calls out visual noise that was particularly noticeable on armor indoors, plus an unnatural appearance for Kliff when the Crow Cloth Blindfold was used with certain settings. These are corrections to stated issues; the notice does not promise that every language string, outfit combination, or indoor rendering artifact has changed.

Before troubleshooting, confirm the game has installed Patch 2.02.00 on the platform you use. Then retry only the activity connected to your problem: the Howling Hill housing unlock, Thornbriar liberation, the affected quest, storage load, combat chain, or new-game launch with DLSS Frame Generation. If the problem persists, preserve the save state and check the linked official Known Issues notice before filing a report. This article summarizes confirmed patch notes and adds limited practical context; for the full wording and any later revision, consult the Pearl Abyss primary source.
