Where It Appears
Chapter 11: Truth and Reality
Trigger Mechanism
Triggered in Foreboding Shadow before unlocking Blackstar.
Boss Traits
Large aerial or dragon-like pressure, ranged fire attacks, and projectile counter opportunities.
Reward or Story Clue
Defeating Golden Star leads to Blackstar’s core and the permanent dragon-mount unlock path.
Quick Tips
- Enter with healing prepared.
- Watch the first full attack string before committing to long combos.
Golden Star
Reach the fortress at the top of the mountain and fight Golden Star. Most of its attacks count as projectiles, so Nature’s Retribution can turn its fire breath back against it and create stuns.
Unlocking Blackstar
After defeating Golden Star, extract the core and complete the sequence with White Crow. Blackstar becomes a permanent mount, but its summon cooldown is long.
Flying Fortress Orbian
Use Blackstar’s fireballs to destroy the six barrier cores, then land on the fortress. Destroy drones and glass cores with charged bow or stab tools, find the false wall, and fight H.A.L.L. by returning projectiles with Nature’s Retribution.
Quick Tips
- Stay at fireball range on Blackstar rather than flying too close.
- Charged Shot removes many fortress defenses quickly.
- H.A.L.L. is easier if you treat it as a ranged counter fight.
