This page tracks the official August 1 Known Issues notice. Treat the workarounds as temporary and check the source before each patch.
Quick answer
As of the August 1 official notice, Crimson Desert has active issues affecting Mac, AMD graphics, FSR4 in rainy environments, certain storage interfaces, quest progression with some playable characters, and a few platform-specific input cases. The best response is to match your exact symptom to the official list before making broad changes to a save or graphics setup.
Current graphics and stability notes
Pearl Abyss lists graphical issues when Ray Regeneration is enabled on Radeon RX 9070 XT or higher cards and advises disabling it until a fix arrives. The notice also lists rain disappearance, blur, or distortion with FSR4 upscaling in rainy environments. Players on NVIDIA GTX 1060 hardware should avoid combining FSR Upscaling and Frame Generation when the screen becomes white.
Mac-specific notes
The official list says crashes can occur with MetalFX Denoising Upscaler enabled on Mac; its stated workaround is deleting the User Engine Option save file in the save folder. It also notes cursor-placement and colorblind-filter issues under particular Mac configurations. Back up the relevant save folder before changing files, and record the display resolution you were using.
Gameplay and interface issues
Other listed problems include a wagon cargo interface appearing in certain camp storage screens after loading trade goods, fish that cannot move in some fishing areas, and Greymane faction quests that cannot progress while playing as Damiane or Oongka. A restart is listed as a temporary workaround for the wagon storage interface. Do not assume a blocked quest is a route mistake until you check the current notice.
Console notes
On PlayStation, the official notice warns that rapid text entry through the virtual keyboard while naming a pet or horse may freeze the screen. Entering characters slowly with short pauses is the practical temporary workaround. It is not glamorous advice, but it is better than losing a clean session to an avoidable freeze.
How to report a new issue well
Give support the platform, version, location, active character, exact settings, and steps that reproduce the problem. Add one concise clip or screenshot when it reveals the symptom. Avoid reporting an old workaround as a new bug; first check whether the official list has changed since you last searched.

How to read this list without spoiling yourself
Official issue lists can name quests, bosses, and locations, so scan only the platform or feature section you need when you want to avoid story details. If the listed problem does not match your situation, do not force its workaround onto your save. Capture the minimum evidence, restart once, and report the exact sequence. A cautious, specific report helps more than a long list of changes made after the fact.
