Missing Companion looks like a small ranch errand, but it is one of Chapter 2’s better examples of Crimson Desert turning a local problem into a clue about the bandit network.

Start at Bloomwood Ranch
Speak with William at Bloomwood Ranch after accepting the Notice Board request. He is searching for his sheep, Wooly, and points you toward witnesses south of the ranch.
Question the Witnesses
Talk to the people near the road and river crossing to learn that bandits are involved. Once the route updates, cross the river and prepare for a camp fight.
Recover the Sheep
Defeat the bandits and bring the sheep back to William. The recovered animal is not exactly what William expected, but the quest still resolves and feeds into the larger Hernand in Chaos investigation.
Quick Tips
- Keep your horse nearby so the return trip is quick.
- Clear ranged bandits first if the camp sits on uneven ground.
- Do not skip witness dialogue; it is what points you across the river.
