Clockwork Mantis Tactical Combat Breakdown
Phase 1: Rhythm and Opening Attacks
Clockwork Mantis is an agility test with mechanical scythe blades. Its primary danger is the triple leap combo. Listen for the metallic gear click right before each leap. Parry the first strike or sidestep the final downward crush.
Phase 2: Lethal Moves & Safe Punish Windows
After taking 50% damage, the Mantis exposes its central power core while firing high-velocity needle bursts. Use environmental pillars to block the volley, then sprint behind to deliver heavy blunt attacks directly to the exposed power core.
Recommended Build & Stamina Management
Blunt weapons (Hammers, Maces) deal 25% extra poise damage against its mechanical carapace. Equip electrical resist potions or lightning charms.
Rematch Prep & Key Victory Rewards
Yields Clockwork Cogwheel and unlocks blueprint access for the Mantis Scythe dagger family.
