Is Crimson Desert out now?

What platforms is Crimson Desert available on?
Pearl Abyss lists PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam for PC and Mac, Epic Games Store, Mac App Store, and GeForce NOW.
Is Crimson Desert multiplayer or co-op?
The official storefront positioning is a solo campaign experience, and the Steam feature list marks the game as Single-player. Treat Crimson Desert as a single-player adventure unless Pearl Abyss announces a dedicated co-op mode later.
Does Crimson Desert require an internet connection?
An internet connection is needed for initial setup and updates. Pearl Abyss says the game can be enjoyed offline once installation is complete, but future patches still require internet access.
Does Crimson Desert support cross-save?
No. Pearl Abyss states that cross-save is not available between different platforms.

How many chapters are in Crimson Desert?

Where should I start if I am stuck in the story?

Are there missable quests?
Some quest timing, playable character, and faction conditions can matter. Use Quest Checklist before pushing far into a new chapter, especially if you are switching between Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane.
How do I remap controller buttons?
Patch 1.09.00 added controller remapping. After updating, check your input settings before entering a boss fight, especially dodge, heavy attack, quickslots, tools, and Blinding Flash-style inputs.
Controls & Performance
What controllers are supported on PC?
Pearl Abyss lists Xbox controllers and DualSense via USB for the PC version. Steam also marks the game with full controller support, but controller icon and Steam Input behavior can still depend on your device setup.
Does Crimson Desert support Steam Deck?
The Steam page includes Steam Deck-related review filters, but handheld behavior can vary by driver, streaming setup, and input layer. For now, treat Steam Deck as a settings/testing question rather than a guaranteed perfect handheld profile.
Does Crimson Desert support Intel Arc GPUs?
Pearl Abyss says Intel Arc support was added through Patch 1.03.00 and that compatibility and performance improvements are ongoing. If you are on Arc hardware, keep drivers and the game updated before troubleshooting deeper.
What changed in Patch 1.09?
Patch 1.09.00 added controller remapping, about 30 small animal pet registrations, new Oongka and Damiane skills, seed quickslot support, and several bug fixes for UI, farming, graphics, localization, and stability.
What known issues should I check first?

What is the best weapon in Crimson Desert?

How do I pick a beginner build?
Pick a build that keeps dodge timing, healing, and stagger control simple. Start with Build Planner, then adjust after you know whether the next route is a boss fight, exploration path, puzzle, or farming loop.
How do boss rematches work?
Boss rematches are best used as a practice and build-testing loop. Use Boss Rematch Checklist to track unlocks, recommended builds, reward notes, and whether a fight should be repeated in a safer or harder state.
Exploration & Support
Where do pets, Red Panda, Baby Wyvern, and small animals fit?
Pets are useful for route cleanup and collection flow. Patch 1.08 expanded creature systems, and Patch 1.09 added more small animal pet registrations, so pet routes should be checked against the current patch.
Where are hidden strongboxes, puzzle answers, and rare materials?
Use Quest Index and future puzzle/location pages for step-by-step routes. For material loops, Farming Route Planner is the better starting point because it can group region, risk, travel time, and best build.
Where do I report a bug?
